Sculpted, and *very* low prim, each cabinet, cupboard, and shelf includes a menu full of great shabby chic wood textures for your decorating pleasure. The Driftwood Collection

The Driftwood Collection is now available in three color variations at Prim Pincher.

Featuring muted wood tones - which coordinate with the texture change dining furniture - and soft stripes, this set will look great in your beach home or cottage. All seating has adjustable multi-sit, and I've included some new animations this time. In addition, the sofa is my first product taking advantage of the new NPose scripts, which give the functionality of the MLP without the poseballs. As a result, the sofa has not only several single animations, but also four sets of couples sits, and three cuddles. Touch the sofa for the menu, choose your animation and then sit. For couples, choose a couples animation set, and then each of you can sit anywhere on the object and the scripts will do the rest. Use the menu to choose new pose sets, or to swap positions.

Just a quick note. I released these the other day and forgot to blog them. Duh. Anyway, these are great little sculpted campfires, very low prim and with updated particle flames and scripts. You can toggle the flame on and off, light on or off (when fire is lit), and adjust the volume via a simple menu. Owner lock included, so you can keep others from changing your selections. :)

Dining Sets

New *very* low prim dining room furniture now available at Prim Pincher. This is the first time I have used single sculpts with this much detail. Each of the chairs is only 1 prim, but I have attached a shadow prim to each one for added realism. You can remove them if you like to save extra prims. Tables are 3 prims with shadows or 2 without.

These sets includes a table and four chairs.

11 prims for each set, and all prims are mod/transfer.

Chairs include menu driven multi-sit with eight animations/poses including an eating and a drinking animation. Choose your pose from the menu and then use the PgUp or PgDn to adjust your position up or down for a perfect fit.

Chairs and table legs are sculpted prims. Use "edit linked parts" to unlink and remove the shadow prims for an even lower prim count (6 prims for the set without shadows).

Beach Casual Furniture At Prim Pincher

Two Beach Casual furniture collections now available at the Prim Pincher Mainstore on Nimue Isle. In your choice of Rattan or Bamboo base, cushion textures can be changed using the texture change menu, which offers nine striped textures to choose from. As with all texture change items from Prim Pincher, the owner can choose to lock this menu so other people cannot re-texture your furniture.

The couch includes the "no-prim" cuddle system, which will rez a pair of temp-on-rez poseballs. While standing, touch the couch for a menu to rez the poseballs. For sitting poses, sit on either the seat cushion or the seat back and a menu choices will appear.

The chair and lounger also provide a menu of sit poses/animations, and you can adjust your position using the page up & page down keys for a better fit. Sit anywhere on the chairs and the menu will appear.

New Leather Furniture Showroom at Prim Pincher

Well, it's finally done and I've added a whole new showroom onto the Prim Pincher Mainstore to hold it all. Thirty, that's right, THIRTY new sets of leather furniture have arrived at Prim Pincher. There are three different designs, each available in your choice of ten different, highly realistic, leather textures.

But, the exciting new colors aren't all that these sets have to offer! Every new item features the new, custom, multi-sit script which allows both menu-driven multi-pose in EACH seat, but also the ability to adjust your height while sitting. Sit, select a pose, and then press pageup to sit a little higher or pagedown to move yourself lower. Your adjusted height will be remembered unless the scripts in the object are reset.

In addition, every couch in the leather collection includes the fully adjustable, no-prim poseball system which allows you to rez a set of poseballs without adding to your prim count. Now you can cuddle with your special someone whenever you like. Simply touch the couches while standing to rez the cuddle.

All are available as individual pieces or sets in the new Leather Showroom, and will soon be available at xStreet and OnRez as well.

Hard to believe, but it is that time of year again! Time to think about snow and gifts, decorating your home for the holidays and snuggling up by the fire. I love the holidays, and have been playing around making some Christmas and winter themed goodies. I've made so many in fact, that I opened up a little shop across the courtyard from Prim Pincher and have been filling the place with all sorts of winter goodies like the ones pictured below.

You'll also find Christmas stockings, tree skirts, gift boxes and bags, and sculpted candy canes. All are at low prices, and all decorations are copy / mod, so you can rez as many as you like. (Gift boxes are transfer so you can fill them with gifts for a loved one and give them as presents.)

So, I was standing on my work platform today, chugging away on some new stuff when I get an IM from one of my regular customers who had dropped in to do a little shopping. After chatting a bit he mentioned that he liked my Balinese line of beach furniture and the matching pavilion, but the color wasn't quite right for his decor. I popped down to the store and we tried out some different looks and *whammo* we hit on something great. He liked it, and so did I. I liked it so much in fact I did the whole set in this this new look, and reworked one of my Cuddle Tubs to match. (OK, that was his idea too. The customer really does no best. :) )

So, here is what we came up with.

Wild about leather

As anyone who shops at the Pincher knows, I've never offered much in the way of a major SL furniture staple...leather furniture. Well, all that is about to change. I ran across some absolutely stunning leather textures that really inspired me, and my first offering using them has just arrived.

The low prim leather furniture set is the lowest prim offering in the upcoming line. Only 10 prims for couch, chair, and chair with attached ottoman. Both chairs feature a nice range of poses which you can toggle through once seated. The couch seats three, or touch it to rez a couples' cuddle using our "no prim" temp rez poseball system. Currently available in five colors.

Drop by and have a look. I've added a room onto the back of the store where the new goodies are located. There you will also find coordinating lamps, multi-sit bar stools, and club tables.

Relaxing, cuddle hot tubs are the new item of the day at Prim Pincher. Currently available in five separate finishes, these hot tubs feature an MLP driven menu of single and couples poses, including a nice selection of cuddles for spending time with that special someone.

The construction is sleek and simple. Substantial steps lead into the sumptuous waters, and are positioned so you can make an elegant exit from the tub. ( I hate it when there are no steps to get out!) A built in bench provides a seating surface along all the interior walls of the tub, and the MLP poses are positioned to take advantage of this. Prims for the tub and water total only 9. Rezzing the poseballs takes an two additional prims.Water can be drained and filled using the menu controls, triggering appropriate sounds. Bubbles and steam toggle on and off independently, so you can customize your experience.

Custom scripted plugins allow control of the water level, bubbles, steam, and volume settings from within the drop down menu. No big buttons on the edge if this tub. :)

No worries if you don't have a date to snuggle with. There are a selection of sits and a splashing animation for one or two avatars too.

Now, time to slip into the water and sort my inventory in style. :)

New at Prim Pincher Furniture, the Luxury living room set. Loaded with features and poses, the fact that this set is so low prim, weighing in at thirty, seems like a bonus.

First, scripted texture and color change in cushions and furniture legs allow you to customize this set to fit your personal style. If your style changes, this furniture will change with you. A texture change rug is also included.

When it comes to poses, this set not only has a great variety of individual poses (three in the couch, two in the bench, and multi sit in both chairs), but it also features the new "no prim" poseball cuddle system in the couch and one of the chairs. Cuddle in the chair, and then hop onto the couch for a good old fashioned make-out session.

New furniture and a new feature!

It's been a long time in the making, but Prim Pincher's new custom scripted "No Prim" poseball system is finally ready and making its first appearance in this new set of 4 new Asian inspired corner couches.These couches are only 6 prims, and match the multi-sit Asian benches and rounded chairs already available at Prim Pincher. The couch seats up to three avatars with animated poses embedded in each of the three cushions. Select a cushion and sit to activate the pose.

What's new here is the "No prim" poseball rezzing system. This new script not only lets me add a couples cuddle in addition to the embedded poses, but does so with no added prims. Also, this system makes it easy to adjust the position of the cuddle poseballs, so they fit your avatars, and save that position. This means, each time you rez the cuddle it will be positioned just right for hanging out with your sweety.
To rez the cuddle, touch the couch and press the "hide/show" button. The temp rez poseballs will appear. Just sit, give permission to animate your avatar, and you are all set. When you are done, press the hide show button again to remove the poseballs, or leave them alone and they will tidy up after themselves, auto deleteing within a minute or so. All the advantages of poseballs, without the visual clutter and extra prims ruining your decor!

Squeezed for prims? No problem!

I remember what it was like setting up my first home on a 512 parcel. As small as the actual parcel was, it was the prim limit that had me crunched. Trying to find things that looked nice and suited my style was hard enough, but limiting my search to extremely low prim items made it that much harder. That experience is what inspired me to start making low prim furniture, and keep making it even after I moved up to a world of much higher prim counts. All of my items are prim conscious, but it has been awhile since I released a living room furniture set that met the needs of the ultra low prim consumer. This set should fit the bill.

This set may be very low prim, but it is not low quality. I've added scripted color change for the wood seat bases and tables, and an extensive color change menu for the cushions. This is a set that can easily be adapted to fit your decor, and can change with you as you alter the style and color pallete of your home.

Also, the set features top quality animated poses. The couch is designed to seat three, one on each cushion. Both the chair and chair with attached ottoman have scripted multi sit, allowing you to toggle through a selection of animated poses.

Eastern Flair

Since the big move to the new sim a month ago, I've been busy building myself a new home along with the new store. I wanted something different - I have my beloved cottage and forest motif on the ground - so I decided for my sky home to look to the East. Well, a new house needs new furniture. So, I set to work to make something influenced by a Japanese aesthetic. This is the result:

Available in both a neutral color palette with dark wood and the red with carved ebony. Items are available individually in world, but I decided to box up two different sets in each color so there would be a range of prim counts for the sets. (The sets are priced at 20% off the price of the individual items.) Replacing the rounded chairs with benches subtracts 10 prims from each set.

Both the benches and the rounded chair include menu driven multi sit with your choice of six quality poses.

Just listed a new box set on Slex. A traditional furniture set in blue with dark wood accents. Couch has embedded poses and an MLP. Chairs each have 2 poses (one is seat and one in seat back) and ottoman allows for pose change on touch. This is just a great little set that is perfect for a more traditional, cozy home, or maybe a front sitting room or den. The scale is not oversized, so it will really look great tucked into almost any room, and at only 35 prims for everything it's not too hard on the prim budget.

Ready for paradise?

Well, paradise is ready for you in the form of the new, furnished, Balinese Beach Pavilion. Only 10 prims for the pavilion and 16 for the matching furnishings. The Balinese Pavilion is a simple structure that transforms your barren beach into a tropical paradise. It features rich wood textures complimented by a coordinating thatch roof.

Matching lounge furniture set is also available. There is a sit pose in each of the 6 sofa cushions, plus an additional sit can be accessed by selecting "sit" while targeting the base of either sofa. The ottomans feature multi sit, so you can change your pose by clicking on them after you are seated. In total the set will seat up to 10 at one time. A great set for entertaining guests, and at only 26 prims for everything there is room for this set on almost any parcel.

On the move to a new location!

Well, I did it. I bought an island. More room for me, and no lag for you. Yay!

Drop in, check it out, and pick up a landmark. I'm having SO much fun setting everything up. The store is up and ready to go, and loaded with new products. Several older products have also been updated, so take a minute to check them out.

OK, I know I say this every time, but I LOVE this set. A clean, simple style, texture change, animated poses, multi sit in the chair and ottoman, working lamps with glow. I even added a texture change rug to complete the package. The chaise is my favorite of all the pieces. Great poses in each pillow so 2 avis can sit facing each other and chat the day away. A new little goodie available at the Pincher. I've had a few sculpted candles out for awhile, but I've retooled them a bit to look better in Windlight, and tweaked the script a bit. I've made them in three sizes, four variations, and boxed them up in sets of three which I'll be making available on Slex and OnRez. Each candle weighs in at three prims, so each box set comes to a total of nine. All emit particle flame and light, turning on and off on touch. Enjoy. :)

Life's a Beach

Hi again. It's feast or famine at Prim Pincher. I have a passel of time on my hands at the moment and finally have the chance to get some goodies made and out on the floor that I've had in mind for the longest time. Anyway, this is the latest addition...beach goodies! It is summer (almost) after all.

Texture change beach loungers with an animated sit pose. Two versions, both with several texture options.

Furntiure that does it all

I feel like I've been working on this set forever, and I really hope you like it.

Modern style which combines sculpts and traditional prims is just the beginning. This set also features menu driven texture change, so custom decorating is at your finger tips. In addition, this set is loaded with professional animations. The ottoman has one, the chair two, and the couch four in the cushions. They are positioned so that the chair seats two, side by side, at one time. The couch seats four, two on the cushions and one on each arm. Finally, as if that wasn't enough, the couch ALSO has an MLP system loaded with a variety of PG poses, including two couples cuddles from Bits and Bobs. The lamps also feature texture change and a three-way switch which controls light level. When switched on they give off just the right amount of light, and a subtle glow. Garden Goodies

Been too long, but loads of new stuff arriving at The Pincher. Yay! I'm so excited!

First off, this garden fountain. Animated water and sound, of course, but the stump also includes a multipose sit with three great animated sits. Click the stump to change poses.

Next, a simple, low prim Chimenea for you beach, garden, or home. Particle and prim flame so it still looks great even if particles are turned off. Set to give off a low, warm light, but it's mod so you can adjust that to suit your own needs.

Finally, the Romantic Firepit. This has been available for awhile, but I am just now making it available on SLEX, so I thought I would give it a mention too. Incredibly low prim with nice particle and flame effects and just the right amount of sound.

Ready for a nap

Despite the lack of new releases posted lately it is summer and I am ready for a nap! To that end I have a new line sculpted beds available at the Pincher. Like my other beds these beds are PG, with a sleeping pose in each pillow and one in the mattress. These beds are also Mod-yes so you can link your own saucy animations and animations systems to them if you choose. (Who am I to deny you love?!) Each bed is only 7 prims. I have 2 styles in 2 different wood tones each (that makes 4 total bed frames for those who are counting). Check out the colorchange and animations in each as there is some variation.

Drop in and check them out. The pillows look so real though I warn you, you will want to snuggle down and catch some ZZZZ's.

A Place to call home. Introducing...the Sophisticate

I am building Prim Pincher on the idea that everyone deserves style and comfort, no matter their prim allowance. In line with that philosophy I introduce my first prefab...the Sophisticate. This skybox weighs in at only 10 prims for both skybox and teleport pads, but that doesn't mean you are sentenced living in a freaky and depressing plywood box.

The Sophisticate may be low prim, but offers privacy and style along the way. Fully tintable windows on touch make the interior spaces private instantly, or choose the 1 way tint option so you can see out but no one can see in. Custom teleport pads work on a single touch. No awkward multi step operations. Industrial styling including exposed brick, dark hardwood, & unique industrial door with sound. Door opens and closes on touch and stays open so you can extend your indoor living space out onto the patio. Additional outdoor living is available in the spacious roof deck, perfect for parties. Window tinting extends to cover part of the roof terrace for additional privacy. Configurable lock system allows the owner to decide who can use doors/windows/ & TP.

Well, I couldn't resist the fun of tinies any longer and I have jumped in with both feet (or more accurately paws). Tinies are just too darn fun and everyone should be one at least some of the time. And, because I just can't seem to try anything without creating my own stuff too, I present these new items from pRIM pINCHER tiny. Oh my gosh, so cute!

You may notice that this is my Elven dreams line gone tiny. Now you can mix and match for big and little all in one set! (And of course, the rocking chair really works.)

My garden sprouted sculpties!

Need a break after a long hot day in the garden? Settle in to my new shabby chic inspired garden table and and matching garden seats. Available in 2 finishes, select the one that best fits your decor.

Seats have targeted poses, and the boxed set featured here includes 2 stools each with a masculine or feminine pose (though truth be told, both poses are very subtle and suitable for unisex use). Also, this set combines sculpties with tradional prims for the most pleasing look possible, and at only 10 prims for the set it will tuck into most any garden parcel without breaking the prim bank. Give yourself and your friends a pretty place to sit, or, if you don't like being outside, something lovely to look at out your window!

To help dress up this set and some of my other more rustic furnishings, I whipped up this modest collection of rustic tableware. Set includes carafe, cup, and basket of bowls. Also, this set is sold modifyable and copiable so you can size it to fit your home and have as many cups and bowls as you desire all with this one set.

Prim Pincher Squeezes the Sculpties

Ok, so this is my first offering using that new shape with the rounded corners we hunger for...the SCULPTIE. I am no sculptie expert (yet) so I have been holding back thinking...what can I ADD that any old beginner builder might not be able to do. How can I add the Prim Pincher touch? Well, thanks to a great script and a LOT of time making poses and posing sit targets I came up with something really simple that I can still be proud of. I present my line of Color Change Sculptie furniture.

Prim count is LOW: sofa - 7, chaise - 5, loveseat - 4. Each back and seat cushion has a pose and even the arms of the couches and chair are sit targeted. What does that mean? It means this set can seat a LOT of folks. People....it's party time.

Menu driven color change gives you the choice of 5 colored suedes and black leather all at the touch of a button, and a script upgrade allows the owner to lock the color change so that only they can make adjustments.

This is a simple set, no doubt, but I have tried to load it with features and keep the price really low so that it offers something great to my customers for their hard earned L$. I left off extra pillows and embellishments to keep the prim count at the lowest possible number. You should be able to choose how many prims (if any) you want to spend on throw pillows.

I really hope that this simple little set meets the needs of my customers. I think it came out pretty cute myself.

Well, I am finally debuting my new line which I am calling Elven Dreams. While a tish primmier than some of my other offerings, at 6-10 prims per item these chairs, tables, and daybed are still very prim-conscious. In addition to their delicate construction, these pieces have some great features. First, the rocking chair. As smooth as can be, this chair was custom scripted for me by Cynebald Ceawlin and it is just wonderful. Also, the daybed represents my first attempt at using the amazing MLP system, which is more commonly seen driving beds of a much more exotic variety.

For those who don't know, this system allows, in this case, 1 or 2 users to hop on temp rezzed poseballs and choose from an assortment of poses. This system also allows the owner to custom adjust each pose to suite the size and shape of their individual avi. Usually seen in furniture at much high prices (due to the energetic poses and animations used in love furniture) this system also represents a powerful tool for more everyday furnishings. Yay choices!

Just a quick note. I am trying out boxing up sets of some of my furniture items and selling them at a discount for the whole shebang. Easier for you becasue you get a whole group in one click and at a discount no less! Easier for me because as my inventory grows I can stack up boxed sets of different color variations of the same thing. Anyway, this is an example of the new boxed set thing:

This is a really simple but really handy little group. Makes a great little place for 2 friends to settle in for a friendly chat and at 8 prims for all 6 pieces there is room for this little set in almost any home. Enjoy!

Color Change Furniture has arrived!

Finally! I put togther some furniture I really love using the menu driven color change script my hunny wrote for my color change beach umbrella and beach blanket. This loveseat, floor pillow and rug group can be purchased seperately or together in a boxed set for a discounted price. I love the graceful lines of the loveseat and the highly polished dark wood. It looks great in my stone cottage, but would fit with many styles of decor from regal castle to elegant skybox. There are currently 5 textures (3 prints and 2 solids) in to choose from in each piece.

Also, as always, scripted poses are used rather than adding prims with poseballs. The love seat is only 8 prims (and includes 3 poses), each floor cushion has 1 prim and 1 pose, and the rug is 2 prims and allows modification so you can make it fit your home. Drop into the Pincher and check them out!

Just Chillin'....the upgrade

Spurred on my a customer request, I uprgaded the poses and seating capacity of my line of sectional sofas. Now, seat 4 people (of average size and minimial hooker heels) all together on any of my 6 prim corner sofas. Simply touch a sofa seat cushion or seat back to take a seat. FOUR poses seating FOUR PEOPLE at once on a SIX PRIM couch?!?! How do I do it?

Store in the Sky

No longer on the beach, when I moved to Varano I became a store in the sky. Remember, when you buy land you get the sky above it too (and sometimes when you rent too). With careful use of prims even owners of a 512 can have a small house on the ground and a private get-a-way in the skys above.

This is a selection of my 1 Prim lamps. That's right, all the lamps pictured here are only a single prim. No more empty end tables or dark corners! All lamps have 3-way switch with on/low light/and bright light and all work on touch.

This is it. The beginning of the Prim Pincher empire. Just kidding. I am far from an empire, more a quaint little store located on the beach at The Rookery Cay trying to make something low prim but still cute for the prim conscious consumer.
